Checking Image vs Artwork Ratio
How to check the correct ratio between an artwork and an image
Open Preview on your Mac computer.
Open the Image you would like to check.
Click on Tools > Adjust Size
Make sure the Scale Proportionally box is ticked
Change the measurement unit to cm
In either the width or the height box enter the actual physical artwork dimension in cm, if the other side changes and both numbers match the physical artwork measurements, then the ratio is correct.
If it doesn’t match either the physical measurements or the image dimensions are incorrect and needs to be checked and/or changed accordingly.
Don’t save it to not alter the image file.
