Vortic is in beta​ phase, a normal phase of technology projects which means “still in testing”, development and at an experimental stage. 

This is a bespoke new system never before created, and we’re doing our best to meet your needs as best as we can to fix any issues as well as keeping it functional while developing the system further with new and exciting features. 

We thank you for your patience.

Initial response containing an estimation of time required to investigate and/or fix the issue will be given within 24 hours of receipt of email.

Average timeframes for results vary between 72 hours and 10 working days depending on the complexity and/or severity of the issue.

  • Business Hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm (GMT+1)

  • Submit only one issue per email. If more than one issue please email separately.

      2. Email Subject: a descriptive title of the issue.

      3. Body of Email: Include a clear description of the issue in bullet points.

        • When - Time of issue

        • Where - Vortic Curate or Vortic Collect

        • Which type of Issue: system critical or Standard

        • What happened and what were you trying to do?

        • Include screenshots or screen recordings to illustrate the issue and links to files if needed

Types of Issues

  • 1- System Critical Something is broken or not working and impeding usage of a Vortic product.

  • 2- Standard Issue An issue with a Vortic product, environment, or artwork that does not impede usage but adversely affects experience or perception. This could be a glitch, a display issue, etc. 

 

How to take a screenshot to report an issue or give feedback

When dealing with technical issues, the best way to explain them is by taking and sharing a screenshot of your computer to get a better understanding of what you’re experiencing. 

You can generally do this with your computer’s built-in features. Below are the steps you can take depending on the device.

Mac-Computer

Press ⌘ + Shift + 4. This will display crosshairs. Click and drag to capture the desired area. The screenshot will save to your desktop.

Press ⌘ + Shift + 5. This will enable you to either take a photo or also record a video of your actions.

As a note, it is most helpful to take a screenshot of the entire screen if possible.

iPhone

Press the home button and lock button simultaneously. The lock button is likely on the right side or top of your iPhone. Once the screen has flashed, the screenshot will save to your Photos or Camera Roll.

To record your screen you first have to enable the option from your phone settings. 

Go to Settings > Control Centre > Customise Controls > screen recording (tap on the plus sign to add to the top list. 

Once enabled you can access these controls from your home or locked screen by sliding your finger on the screen from the bottom up.  

Click record and the recording will start after three seconds, once you finish, tap the top red bar and click “Stop Recording”

Ipad

Press the home button and lock button simultaneously just like on your iPhone.

To record your screen you first have to enable the option from your phone settings. 

Go to Settings > Control Centre > Customise Controls > screen recording (tap on the plus sign to add to the top list. 

Once enabled you can access these controls from your home or locked screen by sliding your finger down from the upper right hand corner where your battery shows..  

Click record and the recording will start after three seconds, once you finish, tap the top red bar and click “Stop Recording”
